This girl is fun to draw

Heather Hoxey is one fun person. She came to my CALARTS class to model for us a couple of weeks ago. She was a hit so I had to get her into my regular class at DW. Either way she really is spunky and fun. I had a blast drawing her.

Great stuff. I long for the days of having life drawing classes at work. The envy! Great informative stuff too.

Mr. Pimentel

I really enjoy the looseness and life that you have in your figure drawings. You like to enjoy your drawing.

My name is Jesse Soto, I'm a 2nd year character animator at CalARTs. I've heard from my classmates that you are an amazing instructor with life drawing. I want to become a traditional animator and I feel that my inproficient drawing skill is hurting me when I animate, because I cannot be clear. I have not been classically trained, and when I figure draw everyday at workshops I feel as if I do not know which direction I am going. I like to sketch and sketch and sketch, but I do not know if it's helpful. I was hoping if maybe you'd be able to help me by giving my sketchbook and animation a look in person or in blog? I would really appreciate any help I can get. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope your week is going well.

Take care

Jesse
