
Another fun time when I had a chance to draw with the gesture class students. This model was great! She had clean lines and strong interesting story to her posing. Her name is Marissa Gomez {I hope that's right} and she is one of my favorite models. She's also the model in my drawing of the sitting girl with the big hat.

ReplyDeleteGee, I just think this is as perfect as sketching gets. It could easily be from the pen of an animator in Don Graham's class in 1940. You'd fit right in there. : )
I'm glad to see some of your new work. Your gestures in Walt Stanchfields handouts are inspirational.GREAT STUFF. I hope you will post more of your thoughts on drawing as you did on Seward Street.

ReplyDeleteI'm back beceause I just remember where I know your name from it was in Walt S. notes loved that after reading about from his notes and seeing examples from his class of your work then to run into your blog is a great thing such a beautiful thing considering I never thought in a million years would I ever have the chance to communicate u or anyone that was affiliated with the notes or Walt I hope to continue leraning from what he has thought u and what u have learned on your own take care!!!
